Our Mills

INDAH KIAT PERAWANG

As a leading fully integrated global paper company, APP recognizes Indah KiatPerawang(IKP) as one of its largest pulp andpaper mills. Operations in Sumatra began in 1992 with the machine capacity to meet the growing demand for quality paper. The fully integrated solution ensures sustainable operations throughout the value chain beginning with PEFC certified raw materials and processes ensuring efficiencies and constant review of process improvement protocols for the re-purpose of energy, water and quality control.

IIKP has capacity for 90.000 MT and is currently producing over 70.000 MT of cut-size paper per month. The fully integrated mill operations include a pulp machine, 9 paper machines, and 3 converting plants (with 13 auto machines for cut size, 15 large sheet machines, 10 cutter machines, and 8 wrapping machines). Palletizing is done in house and product is stored on-site for consistency in global distribution. Constant quality control is performed throughout all manufacturing operations and documented with critical parameter data collection mechanisms under the ISO 14001 Management and Environmental system.

Accomplishments include power storage and sharing with nearby neighborhoods, as well as operations for global port logistics. Certifications for IKP include: SVLK, ISO 9001:2015 dan ISO 14001:2015, SNI, Halal, ISEGA ISO 9706:2010, Certificate PEFC, Certificate ECO Label.

TJIWI KIMIA MILL

As the chief manufacturer of writing/printing paper and stationery in Indonesia, APP’s Tjiwi Kimia (TK) Mill was founded in 1972 as a small caustic soda manufacturer located in East Java Province. Today, with an area of 200 hectares, TK has transformed to become the largest dedicated global stationery manufacturer under one roof.The company was listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange in April 1990.

The wide range of products produced at the TK mill are caustic soda, writing and printing paper, coated art paper and board, high gloss cast coated paper, stationery, carbonless paper, continuous stock forms, file folders, kraft, coated & uncoated inkjet paperand photocopy paper.

In addition, the TK mill’s range of converted paper products include shopping bags,pads, spiral, loose leaf binders, diaries/journals, perfect bound books, casebound books, envelopes, continuous forms stationery, and luxury products.Market ready services also include extensive sheet-fed printing capabilities along with full bindery, finishing and publishing.

The TK mill markets its products under several key proprietary global brands such asPaperline,Sinarline,Sinar Dunia, Sinar Copy and Sinar Laser.

Accomplishments include ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications for its achievement and efforts in Quality Management System and Environmental Management System performance.

Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tangerang

Established in 1976, Pt. Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tangerang (IKT) is in Tangerang, Banten province of Indonesia. For 30 plus years, the mill has been producing woodfree paper, colored paper, board, specialty paper, and stationery products.  With an annual production capacity of 135,000 tons, IKT produces a wide variety of colored paper products which are writing a paper sold in more than 65 countries spread across 5 continents. IKT was the first mill in Indonesia to become ISO 14001 certified as well as other mill certifications, which include ISO 9001, 45001 and PEFC. Aligned with all APP Sinar Mas paper mills, IKT is committed to quality products and innovation.
